Workforce network meeting | Talking testing: HIV and viral hepatitis: resource launch and workshop

The BBV Sector Development Program has developed a series of ‘talking testing’ tools for testing providers. The purpose of these testing tools is to guide and build the confidence of clinicians and other test providers to initiate conversations about hepatitis B, hepatitis C and HIV testing. This half-day meeting will include: • Rapid overview of pre and post test discussion • Launch of the hepatitis B, hepatitis C and HIV Talking Testing tools • Testing tools workshop - initiating HIV and hepatitis testing • Testing in 2018: normalising testing, use of language, the meaning of a positive diagnosis, and the role of disclosure
